The Community Academy of Media Arts (CAMA) is excited to announce the opening of new workshops for adults in art, photography, entrepreneurship, and social media. These workshops are designed for adults of all skill levels who are interested in learning new skills or expanding their knowledge of the media arts.

Art Workshop

In the art workshop, participants will learn the basics of drawing, painting, and sculpture. They will also have the opportunity to experiment with different art materials and techniques. The workshop will be led by experienced art instructors who will provide guidance and support.

Photography Workshop

The photography workshop will teach participants how to use a camera to capture beautiful images. Participants will learn about the different settings on a camera, how to compose a photograph, and how to edit photos. The workshop will be led by experienced photographers who will share their knowledge and expertise.

Entrepreneurship Workshop

The entrepreneurship workshop will teach participants how to start their own business. Participants will learn about the different aspects of running a business, such as marketing, sales, and finance. They will also have the opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs and get advice from experienced business owners.

Social Media Workshop

The social media workshop will teach participants how to use social media to promote their business or organization. Participants will learn how to create and manage social media accounts, how to create engaging content, and how to measure the results of their social media efforts. The workshop will be led by experienced social media professionals who will share their insights and best practices.

Videography and Produciton

This course was designed to provide you with the basics of video production in an easily digested form. It covers the production process and techniques involved in transforming ideas in your head into an effective presentation on a screen.

The knowledge you develop by reading this book will provide a solid foundation for video projects and future studies.

Digital Design

This course will cover the fundamental principles and ideas you should know in a concise and easy to digest way! From colors to layouts to fonts and so much more, you will get an introduction as well as illustrations for everything!

Fashion Design

At the end of this course, the student will have knowledge in design, sewing and patternmaking which will allow them to create a garment based on their measurements. 

Piano

This course is an introduction to the basics of playing the piano. Students will learn how to read music, play simple melodies and chords, and develop their own musical skills.

Guitar

This course is an introduction to the basics of playing the guitar. Students will learn how to hold the guitar, strum, play basic chords, and learn how to read music.

Bass

This course is an introduction to the basics of playing the bass guitar. Students will learn how to hold the bass, strum, play basic chords, and learn how to read music.

Computer Science

This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of computer science and coding. Students will learn the basics of programming, problem-solving, and algorithm design. They will also be introduced to the different programming languages used in computer science.

Acting

This course is an introduction to the art of acting. Students will explore the basics of acting, including character development, scene analysis, and performance techniques. They will also have the opportunity to develop their own acting skills through a variety of exercises and projects.
